The elections for the renewal of national offices were held in Turin on the 25th March, in the national headquarters of the Grand Liberal Lodge of Italy.
The Representatives of the Lodges of all the Lodges associated with the Grand Liberal Lodge compliant with the required electoral obligations took part in the vote, except for two who were absent for valid reasons. The vote took place according to the ritual procedures traditionally adopted by Freemasonry.
In compliance with the General Regulations, the Grand Master, the Grand Senior Warden, the Grand Junior Warden, the Grand Orator and the Grand Inner Tyler were elected by secret ballot. All the other Officers will be appointed by the Grand Master Elected within the next months.
Sister Luisa Ceravolo, a member of the “Sub Rosa” Lodge n. 26 in Monza, was elected Grand Master.
Sister Luisa Ceravolo was initiated in 1991 in the Grand Lodge of Italy of the A&AFM – Palazzo Vitelleschi. She held prestigious positions and offices in the Orient of Milan, up to reaching the 33rd Degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Sister Luisa Ceravolo was one of the founders of Lodge “Sub Rosa” in Monza, which in November 2020 joined the Grand Liberal Lodge of Italy.
The elected Brethren, in compliance with the General Regulations, will stay aside the Brethren in office until their effective installation which will take place in a solemn Ritual Session scheduled for the 23rd September of current year.
At the end of the electoral meeting, the Brothers and Sisters who attended the voting session gathered in a festive convivial event in a restaurant in the city.
